We had a strong start to the year. Sharing thoughts on today’s Q1 earnings results as Amazon Web Services (AWS) continues to see amazing momentum in GenAI innovation and customer adoption. Some recent highlights: -We expanded Amazon Bedrock with Nova Sonic for voice AI, Nova Premier for complex tasks, and Nova Act SDK for browser-based agents. We’re seeing customers like Blue Origin, Coinbase, Siemens, Slack, and many others embracing our Amazon Nova family of models. -Added industry-leading models including Anthropic’s Claude 3.7 Sonnet, DeepSeek AI's R1, Meta's Llama 4, Mistral AI's Pixtral Large, and Writer’s Palmyra X5. -Continued rapid innovation with Amazon Q Developer, including a new agentic CLI experience, multilingual capabilities, an enhanced experience for Amazon OpenSearch Service, support for MCP, and the general availability of GitLab Duo with Amazon Q. -Launched the scenarios capability of Amazon Q in QuickSight, with an advanced AI agent to help customers leverage natural language to perform expert-level data analysis. -Unveiled Ocelot, our groundbreaking quantum computing chip reducing error correction resources by 90%.
