Embedded analytics for applications
Amazon QuickSight lets you embed interactive dashboards and visualizations in your applications. Blend analytics into your application with QuickSight's Embedded themes, which lets you personalize the look and feel (e.g. colors, fonts etc.) of your reports and dashboards. You can integrate into your applications user experience by setting defaults and handling errors to match your app's user experience.
1-click embedding
QuickSight Enterprise Edition supports 1-click embedding, a feature that allows you to embed dashboards in apps, wikis, and portals without needing to call embedding APIs. Authorized end-users can access these dashboards without any server deployments or infrastructure licensing needed.
Custom branded email reports
QuickSight Enterprise Edition supports the ability to send custom branded email reports sent from QuickSights, align with the logo and header color of the email, as well as footer text of the email. If you have your dashboard embedded in your application, you can customize the URL to open the dashboard from the email to the URL of your application.
Enable data insights
Amazon QuickSight is designed to help your users gain insights through ad-hoc analysis and machine learning capabilities such as anomaly detection, forecasting, and natural language queries. In addition, users can author, publish, and share their own dashboards and reports to get specific answers to their customized questions.
Serverless
In addition to QuickSight's serverless architecture, QuickSight's APIs are designed to help, you manage your analytics workflows such as setting up multi-tenant architecture for isolating data between multiple end-users, moving dashboards across accounts, automating deployments, and managing access for users with Single Sign-On (SSO).
Analytics with ML Insights
ML Insights leverages AWS's machine learning (ML) and natural language capabilities to help you gain deeper insights from your data. These out-of-box features are designed to enable you to discover hidden trends and outliers, identify key business drivers, and perform what-if analysis and forecasting. ML Insights is available as part of the QuickSight Enterprise Edition.
Discover insights across your data
QuickSight's ML-powered Anomaly Detection is designed to continuously analyze your data to discover anomalies and variations inside of the aggregates, giving you the insights to act when business changes occur.
Perform forecasting
Use ML-powered Forecasting to predict your business metrics, and perform interactive what-if analysis. QuickSight's built-in algorithms are designed to make it easier to use ML that learns from your data patterns to provide you with predictions based on historical trends.
Generate Auto-Narratives
QuickSight is designed to automatically generate natural language narratives that can be woven into your dashboards and reports to provide more context for users. Use customized calculations, and custom formatting that allow you to control the story you present to your users.
Enterprise workloads
Amazon QuickSight has a serverless architecture that is designed scale to tens of thousands of users without the need to setup, configure, or mange your own servers. QuickSight is also built with security, governance, and global collaboration features for your enterprise workloads.
Serverless auto-scaling
QuickSight is serverless and is designed to scale to tens of thousands of users without your needing to manage infrastructure or plan for capacity. QuickSight is designed to give users and analysts self-service business intelligence (BI), so they can answer their own questions, collaborate, and share insights. With QuickSights, your users can connect to data sources, create/edit datasets, create visual analyses, invite co-workers to collaborate on analyses, and publish dashboards and reports.
Data source support
Quicksight is designed to allow you to directly connect to and import data from a wide variety of cloud and on-premses data sources. These include SaaS applications; 3rd party databases; native AWS services; and private VPC subnets. You can also upload a variety of file types.
SPICE (super-fast, parallel, in-memory, calculation engine)
SPICE, QuickSight's in-memory calculation engine is designed to enable improved performance at scale. SPICE is designed to automatically replicate data for high availability allowing thousands of users to simultaneously perform fast, interactive analysis while shielding your underlying data infrastructure, saving you time and resources.
Global collaboration and multi-tenancy
The QuickSight application is localized in 10 major languages including: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. QuickSight is also available across multiple AWS regions including: N. Virginia, Oregon, Ohio, Dublin, Japan, Singapore, and Sydney.
Security and compliance
Quicksight is designed to provide a secure platform allowing you to distribute dashboards and insights securely to tens of thousands of users. In addition to the multi-region availability and built-in redundancy, QuickSight allows you to securely manage your users and content via a set of security features including role-based access control, active directory integration, CloudTrail auditing, single sign-on (IAM, 3rd party), private VPC subnets, and data backup.
Mobile app support
QuickSight Mobile for iOS and Android is designed to enable you to securely get insights from your data from anywhere. Easily favorite, browse and interact with all of your dashboards in an easy to use mobile optimized experience. You can explore your data with drill down and filters, stay ahead of the curve via forecasting, get email alerts when unexpected changes happen in your data, and share those insights with colleagues.
Pay-per-use pricing
QuickSight offers a pay-per-session model for dashboard readers (users who consume dashboards others have created). This pricing model is designed to allow your users to access dashboards and email reports on a pay-per-session basis.
Amazon QuickSight Embedded
Amazon QuickSight Embedded is designed to allow you to add interactive analytics into any application using customized, interactive visuals, and dashboards.
Cut and paste code is designed to allow you to add analytics capabilities to your applications, or scale to hundreds of thousands of concurrent users in a customer-facing application.
Self-service BI with QuickSight Q
QuickSight Q is designed to allow anyone in an organization to ask business questions in natural language and receive answers with visualizations that help them gain insights from the data. QuickSight Q uses machine learning to interpret the intent of a question and analyze the data to provide answers to business questions.

Q is pre-trained on data from domains such as sales, marketing, financial services, healthcare, and sports analytics to help it understand business language and terms.

Q is designed to help you get insights into your data more quickly as BI teams don’t have to update data and dashboards for every new question.
