๐ Say hello to Tailscale SSH โ and say goodbye to managing SSH keys, setting up bastion jump boxes, and unnecessarily exposing your private production devices to the open internet.
Simple, secure networks for teams of any scale. Built on WireGuard.
- Tailscale SSH is not affected by the recent xz backdoor. We use a pure Go implementation of SSH that does not depend on liblzma or xz. Our infrastructure is also not affected; we didn't run the affected xz versions, and most of our sshd servers are not exposed to the internet.
- ๐We raised $100M USD in our Series B financing. Thank you to @CRV and @insightpartners for leading this round, and to our community for getting us to where we are today!
- Weโre excited to launch our Tailscale @Docker Desktop extension at @DockerCon. Use Tailscale to securely connect to resources you need for development, including internal tools and databases, no matter where you are or where your dev environment lives ๐ฅณ
- Waking up a gaming PC or a media server can be convenient with Wake-on-LAN. It can be even easierโlike "type a word into a browser" easyโusing Tailscale, UpSnap, and a device like a Raspberry Pi. tailscale.com/blog/wake-on-lโฆ
- Tailscale has partnered with @mullvadnet to make its high-speed global network of servers available as exit nodes. Bring a trusted name in privacy and security right to your tailnetโnow in beta
- Introducing Tailscale Funnel: Run a webserver on localhost:8080 and we put it on the internet, complete with a public IP address, DNS, TLS cert, and HTTPS server. Now thatโs a fun tunnel ๐
- WebVM is a complete Linux desktop environment that runs in WebAssembly in the browser โ and uses Tailscale for networking. Congrats to the team on releasing version 2.0!
- We are giving back to your network. All WireGuard packets sent to Tailscale will be sent back doubled.
- We don't like the "SSO tax," where vendors treat a basic security feature like a luxury to charge users for. And yet, we found a whiff of it in our own pricing! So we fixed it:
