    Caching turned a $1,321 Claude Code bill into $232 (83% of my cost before my $200 plan kicked in). But the bill can't tell me which sessions, models, or prompt shapes earned that 93% cache rate or if any of that work was reusable in the first place.

    I’m a front-end dev, but I rarely write css. And when I had to today I had to look a lot of stuff up. One of the lessons I’ve learned in the last (almost) two years is that it’s mostly not about what you know at this stage. It’s about knowing how to figure it out and look it up.

    21-got married 23-started Eng grad school and teaching 24-had 1st kid 25-finished grad school 26 & 29-had 2nd, 3rd kid 31-had 4th kid, suffered severe birth, psychological trauma 32-scholarship to @FlatironSchool 33-graduated, started working as a dev It's never too late to start

    Why isn’t it common practice to talk salary *before* long interview processes? It wastes everyone’s time if you get to the end and salary is the determining factor.

    This morning I learned that I no longer have a job, so I'm looking for new opportunities. I'm currently looking for a remote PT or contract position working with React, though I'm up for learning new technologies. I appreciate RTs or inquiries for frontend or DevRel positions.
