When things break, developers are increasingly turning to AI coding agents to investigate the incident. Your status page workflow needs to adapt to that reality. We built the openstatus CLI to fit seamlessly into this new era of incident management. I put together a quick speedrun showing how you can use the CLI with a coding agent to handle status updates automatically while you focus on the fix. Watch it in action! 🎥👇

We just gave our docs some serious love! 💙 They used to live next to our app and looked a bit different from the rest of our platform. Now, we’ve integrated them directly into our main domain for a completely seamless experience. Oh, and guess what? They are now completely AI agent-friendly! 🤗🤖 Thanks Alex Szczurek 🙏

A year ago, with Thibault Le Ouay - Ducasse, we admitted we were lost (our "Reality Check" post). Today, we’re publishing the receipt: an unfiltered look at a full year of openstatus, and the hard lessons it took to get here. What actually moved the needle wasn't a product feature. It was the people we let into our two-person bubble to ask the hard questions we were avoiding: → Emily Omier forced us to rethink our positioning. → Alex Szczurek overhauled our design language. → Shane O'Connor pushed us to stop hiding and start marketing. → Colin Ozanne joined as our first intern, making us a team of three. → Moulik Aggarwal reminded us the community wants to ship. We kept thinking our bottlenecks were technical. They weren't; they were strategic. The real blocker was our own echo chamber, and the lever was inviting other people in. This is the post we want to re-read in a year, whether we nod in agreement or wince at it. full write-up 👉 https://lnkd.in/dB_x_8bT Credits to Heidinger Jean-Marie for the picture.

did you know you can manage all your openstatus resources via terraform ?
Maximilian Kaske spent weeks making our dashboard look stunning. Me? I’m still managing our status page entirely via our Terraform provider. Sorry Max, if I can't commit it, I don't trust it. 🤖

𝐌𝐞: "My MCP server returns 200 OK! We are so back!" 🥳 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐞 / 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐫: "I have literally no idea what you're saying. Is this an HTML error page?" 👁️👄👁️ Stop trusting basic HTTP pings for your AI tools! Just because your server is awake doesn't mean it speaks the right language. 🚨 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐃𝐑𝐎𝐏: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐬 𝐌𝐂𝐏 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤🚨 We built the ultimate vibe check for your Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. It runs the full JSON-RPC handshake (initialize ➡️ ping ➡️ tools/list) right in your browser to make sure your AI clients can actually read your tools. ✅ Snitches on bad configs (like fake 200s). ✅ No installs. No signups. Just drop your URL. 👉 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐠 — 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭! 👇
