We are looking for a Python Developer to join our growing engineering team.
The mirror image of the research role. Where the work of a researcher tolerates a measure of ambiguity, the work of a developer has to be fast, predictable, and reliable. When someone runs a search you have built, the API answers in milliseconds, every single time.
What you'll be working on:
• Building and maintaining backend APIs behind search and report delivery
• Keeping response times tight under real production load
• Turning data pipelines into products users can actually use
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
Requirements:
• 3+ years of production Python experience
• Strong FastAPI knowledge
• Experience with asynchronous services and concurrency
• Advanced Django skills
• Excellent understanding of Pydantic
• Experience designing scalable APIs
Bonus points:
• Experience deploying and monitoring production services
• Experience serving ML or data models through APIs
